Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of venue159.com and your purchase of anything sold on it. By using the site or buying a panel you agree to them. The site is operated by Venue 159, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. You can reach us at hello@venue159.com.
1. What we sell
A mock jury panel is a written document describing fifteen fictional people — twelve jurors and three alternates — whose demographic composition is drawn from published census data for one Georgia county. Each panel includes court-sheet detail for every juror and a short narrative paragraph about how that juror is written to see the world.
The people in a panel are not real. They are composites generated from population statistics. They are not, and are not derived from, any actual person, any actual jury list, any venire, any court record, or any juror questionnaire. Names are first name and last initial only, and are invented. Nothing in a panel is a prediction of who will be summoned, seated, or struck in any case.
2. This is not legal advice, and we are not your lawyer
Venue 159 sells research and rehearsal material. Buying it does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Venue 159, LLC or between you and any attorney associated with it. Nothing on this site or in a panel is legal advice, and none of it substitutes for your own judgment about your own case. You remain responsible for every decision you make in a matter, including venue selection, jury selection, and trial strategy.
3. No guarantee of outcome or accuracy
The venue scores, county profiles, and panels are built from public data sources described on our methodology page, plus our own judgment. Public data contains errors, lags reality, and is revised. Elections change political figures. We make no warranty, express or implied, that any figure is current or correct, that a panel resembles any real venire, or that using our material will produce any particular result in any matter. Everything is provided as is.
4. Purchases and delivery
Payment is processed by Payhip, which acts as our checkout and delivery provider; card processing is handled by Payhip's payment partners. We never see or store your full card number. Panels are digital files delivered immediately on payment — by download link on the confirmation screen and by email to the address you give at checkout. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Applicable sales tax, if any, is added at checkout.
Refunds are governed by our refund policy.
5. What you may and may not do with a panel
Your rights in a purchased panel are set out in the license, which is part of these terms. In short: one panel, one firm, one matter. You may not resell it, redistribute it outside your firm and the people working on that matter, publish it, or use it as training data for any machine-learning or generative model.
6. Site use
You agree not to scrape, bulk-download, reverse-engineer, or systematically extract the county data behind the map; not to attempt to reach parts of the site you have not paid for; and not to use the site to break any law. The map, the scores, the underlying county dataset, and the panel text are our property or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent Georgia law allows, Venue 159, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, or lost opportunity, arising out of the site or anything bought on it — including any litigation outcome. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the item the claim concerns.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Venue 159, LLC harmless from any claim arising out of your use of a panel or the site in a way these terms do not permit.
9. Governing law and forum
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts sitting in Fulton County, Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
10. Changes
We may revise these terms. The version in effect when you buy is the version that governs that purchase. Material changes will be noted by a new effective date at the top of this page.
